Short Story

Perspective description :

Just as Charles Hoskinson described in one of his AMA’s, whereby an offline transfer of ADA could be accomplished if the protocol proves that a private key was transferred from one device to another, and proves to have deleted the same key from the first device, such that it can only exist on one device. We should open up this idea to include NFT’s of in person collectibles. Instead of just transferring a certificate of authenticity, we can add metadata that describes the physical journey of the collectible, and by allowing offline transfers, we can demonstrate a commercial environment much like pawnshops, but completely peer2peer. This would open up possibilities of custodianship for invaluable artifacts without relying on a trusted middleman (insofar as the artifact is not irrevocably damaged/destroyed in the process).
